     Climate: Xian is located in semi-humid continental monsoon climate zone, characterised by hot and humid summer, and cold and dry winter. There could be spells of rain in sping and autumn.

     Annual Temperature: The average daytime high temperature in January is 4.8 °C (40.6 °F), while the same figure for July is 32.2 °C (90 °F).

     Best Season to Visit: Spring & Autumn (especially Apr. - May, Sep. - Oct.)

    Xian, located in a warm temperate zone, has a semi-humid continental monsoon climate. In summer, it is very hot and rains a lot, while in winter, it is quite cold and rainless. In autumn and spring, successive rains could be expected. The climate here is quite temperate, with an average annual temperature of 13.3 °C (55.9 °F). The average temperature is around -0.9 °C (33.6 °F) in January and 26.3 °C (79.3 °F) in July. But the temperature varies greatly from year to year. Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) are the golden seasons for a visit to Xian.
