In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, the center of Xian's sizeable Muslim community. (B+L)

 

Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi in the morning. Then take flight to Lhasa and transfer to the local hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. The a la carte dinner will be arranged for you at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B+D)

 

This morning you will view the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Tonight you will dine at your hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Start the day with visits to the Jokhang Temple, the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. After a western-style lunch, you'll see the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital and the Lhasa Carpet Factory. This evening dinner will be served at the hotel. (B+L+D)
