
About 100 meters (109 yards) west of center Xian, there is a compact community of Hui People in China, which is know as the Muslim Street. There are about 20,000 Hui People living around 10 all-sized and all-aged mosques. Among the four streets in the area, Beiyuanmen Street is the most popular, which is about 500 meters (546.8 yards) long. There are many local foods in the street, such as Steamed Bread with Beef and Mutton, Steamed Bun Stuffed with Juicy Pork, Boiled Dumpling, and Fried Rice with Pickled Cabbage.
