What requirements do I need to have a China visa?
Good Morning.
I wish to travel to China from Germany on a tourist visa.
The area in China is Qingdao. I will be traveling in China for 40 days.
May I please have an application form, and also a list of requirements that I need to have a visa.

You may download the application form on the official website of Chinese Embassy in Germany.
The requirements are:
a. One duly completed and signed Visa Application Form with a passport photograph attached;
b. Your passport with at least 6-month validity and at least 2 blank visa pages.
c. round-way air tickets and hotel reservation in China.

Yes, you have to go to the Chinese embassy in Berlin to apply for the visa. You can apply the visa by yourself or entrust someone to apply it for you.

Business visa to Beijing
If my business partner in Berlin needs to apply a business visa to Beijing, do I need to give him an invitation letter from my corporation or any standard form issued by the Beijing government for the application. Thx.

Yes, you should provide a letter of invitation from your company (The letter of invitation can not be email, and should include full name and passport number of the invitee as well as the purpose and duration of the visit).

  • I am Greek having the Hellenic (Greek) nationality and I live in Germany, Munich since end of March 2012. I need to travel to China for business reasons. I am an external consultant for BMW AG.

    I already have the following documents:

    1. invitation letter from the BMW in China, Beijing
    2. Filled out the order form and the application form for the VISA.

    I am travelling on the 11th of August 2012 but I have to hand in my passport on the 6th since before that date I will be in Malaysia again for business reason with BMW. Is it possible that I get the passport in time?
    Do you need a confirmation for the flight and the hotel as well?
