The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are suggested to have a half-day Hongkong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market on your own. (B)

Morning is free at leisure. Lunch is on your own. Take an afternoon express train to Guangzhou by yourselves. Upon arrival, you will be transfered to the hotel. (B)

 

Visit Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Memorial Hall, the Five-Ram Statue and the Chen Family Temple. Then explore the Qingping Market and Shamian Island. (B+L)

 

Take a morning flight to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. Tonight, the a la carte dinner will be served at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B+D)

 

This morning you will view the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Later, you'll visit a Tibetan family and get an opportunity to see their customs and how they live. Tonight you will dine at your hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Start the day with visits to the Jokhang Temple, the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. After a western-style lunch, you'll see the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital and the Lhasa Carpet Factory. This evening dinner will be served at the hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Drive to Gyangtse and stop at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake before transferring to the Gyangtse Hotel. Visit the Pelkhor Monastery and Gyangtse Old Town. Tonight's dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Enjoy the hour-long drive to the town of Shigatse and transfer to the Shigatse Hotel.  Visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen where Tibetan lamas live and worship. (B+L+D)

 

Today we'll motor back to Lhasa and transfer to the ShangBaLa Hotel. Tonight, you'll have dinner at the hotel. (B+L+D)

 

Take flight to Xian and transfer to the local hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. (B+L)

 

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an a la carte lunch at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. After dinner you'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D) 

 

Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, take flight to Beijing and check in Holiday Inn Central Plaza. (B+L)

 

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Ming Tomb and the Summer Palace. (B+L)

 

You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

 

You will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
