Day 02: Beijing

You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Ming Tomb and the Summer Palace. (B+L)

Day 04: Beijing - Tsetang
This morning fly to Tsetang. Upon arrival, you will be met by the guide and transferred to the local best hotel. Acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. Tonight, the a la carte dinner will be served at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B+D)

Day 05: Tsetang
This morning, you will take a ferry on the Yarlong Tsangpo River and visit the Samye Monastery. In the afternoon, visit the Tomb of Tibet Kings and the Yumbu Lakang. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Tsetang - Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse and stop at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain before transferring to the Gyangtse Hotel. Tonight's dinner is served at the hotel you stay. (B+L+D)

Day 07: Gyangtse - Shigatse
Visit the Pelkhor Monastery and Gyangtse Old Town. Then take the hour-long drive to the town of Shigatse and transfer to the Shigatse Hotel. Dinner is served in your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 08: Shigatse - Lhasa
Today you will visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen where Tibetan lamas live and worship. Then drive to Lhasa and transfer to the ShangBala Hotel. Tonight, the a la carte dinner will be served at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Lhasa
This morning you will view the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Later, you'll meet a Tibetan family and get an opportunity to see their customs and how they live. Tonight you will dine at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Lhasa
Start the day with visits to the Jokhang Temple, the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. After a western-style lunch, you'll see the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital and the Lhasa Carpet Factory. This evening dinner will be served at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Lhasa - Xian
Take flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. (B+L)

Tashilhunpo Monastery, Shigatse



Day 12: Xian
Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an a la carte lunch at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. After dinner you'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D)

Day 13: Xian
Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, and have some time to stroll on the neighboring street nearby. (B+L)

Day 14: Xian - Guilin

Take a morning flight to Guilin and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill and the Seven Star Park. After dinner, you will enjoy the Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Guilin - Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo you can take a short bicycle trip to the countryside where you will visit a local villager's home and experience his rural lifestyle. Alternatively you can take our electric car instead of a bicycle. (Sometimes the food served on the cruise is not the best, so consider a hearty breakfast at the hotel this morning) (B+L)

Day 16: Yangshuo - Guilin - Hong Kong
Morning is free at leisure. After lunch, drive back to Guilin where you will connect an afternoon flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, please go to the hotel we have booked for you by yourselves. (B+L)

Day 17: Hong Kong
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are suggested to have a half-day Hongkong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market on your own. (B)

Day 18: Departure from Hong Kong
You will get to the airport to board your homeward flight by yourselves. (B)
