Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of your day is free.

Day 02: Katmandu
Today you will tour Katmandu Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath Pagoda, the Buddhanikantha Temple and the Bouddhanath Stupa. (B+L)

Day 03: Katmandu
Start the day by visiting Pashupatinath Temple, the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar Square and the Golden Temple, one of the most famous Vihar in Katmandu valley. (B+L)

Day 04: Katmandu - Zhangmu
This morning you will be driven to the Kodari (Friendship Bridge) of the border, where your guide in Tibet will meet you at the Kodari of the China side. Transfer to the hotel in Zhangmu. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Zhangmu - Dingri
Transfer to Dingri and check in the hotel. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Dingri - Everest Base Camp - Dingri
Transfer to the Everest Base Camp and visit the Rongbuk Monastery at an altitude of nearly 5,000 meters. Return to Dingri where dinner will be served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Palkhor Monastery, Gyangtse



Day 07: Dingri - Shigatse
This morning you will visit the Sakaya Monastery and Lhatse City on our way to Shigatse. You'll be staying at the Shigatse Hotel, the location for this evening's dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 08: Shigatse - Gyangtse
Visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen where Tibetan lamas live and worship in the morning. Then enjoy the hour-long drive to the town of Gyangtse and transfer to the Gyangtse Hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Gyangtse - Tsetang
Visit the Pelkhor Monastery and Gyangtse Old Town. Then you will take long-hour driving to Tsetang. Check in the local hotel where you have your dinner tonight. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Tsetang - Lhasa
Visit the Yumbu Lakang and the Trandruk Monastery in the morning. Ferry the Yarlung Tsangpo River to visit the Samye Monastery on the way to Lhasa. Check in the finest hotel in Lhasa. Then a la carte dinner will be arranged for you at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B+L+D)

Day 11: Lhasa
This morning you will view the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, continue your sightseeing tour to visit the Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park. Later you'll meet a Tibetan family and get an opportunity to see their customs and how they live. Tonight you will dine at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 12: Lhasa
Start the day with visits to the Jokhang Temple, the thriving Barkhor Street bazaar. After a western-style lunch, you'll see the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Tradition Medicine Hospital and the Lhasa Carpet Factory. This evening dinner will be served at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 13: Lhasa - Xian
Take flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Day 14: Xian
Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an a la carte lunch at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. (Add: No. 75, Chang'an Road, Xi'an). Day 15: Xian
Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, the center of Xian's sizeable Muslim community and a local family, which helps you know how local people live. (B+L)

Day 16: Xian - Shanghai
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi in the morning. After lunch, take flight to Shanghai and check in the local hotel. Stroll on the Bund to explore the city. (B+L)

Day 17: Shanghai
In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 18: Departure from Shanghai
You will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
