Arrive in Beijing International Airport. After going through the baggage claim area, you will find the local guide wait for you by holding a sign with your name on it. The guide will give you a general introduction of herself/ himself as well as the city on the way to your hotel. The day remaining is free for you to recover from the long flight journey.

Today's sightseeing schedule includes the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven, which are all impressive in construction scale and historical significance. In the evening, you will have the well-known Beijing Duck Dinner at a popular restaurant. After dinner, you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Transfer to the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling in the morning. A pair of comfortable shoes will make it easier for you to do the two hours' slight hiking on the Great Wall. To refrain from additional shopping at the site restaurants, our guide and driver will take you to a Sichuan restaurant at the nearest district. After that, you will visit the Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb. On the way to the downtown, you will drive pass the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and see its appearance at a distance. Luxury Series: you will enjoy an a la carte dinner at a carefully selected Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Street.

Take a last glance of Beijing by visiting the scenic Summer Palace and the lovely Giant Pandas in Beijing Zoo. The two hours afternoon flight will lead you to Xian, which used to be the capital of 13 dynasties during its 3100 years of development. Your private guide and driver in Xian will wait for you at the airport according to the flight schedule and transfer you to the hotel. (B+L, D is included for luxury series)

Luxury Series: a buffet dinner is reserved for ou at your hotel tonight.

A 45 minutes short drive will take you to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where the well-preserved underground corps displays the powerful army of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-206BC). To make sure you have a better lunch, our guide and driver will take you a renowned downtown Cantonese cuisine restaurant. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall are included in the afternoon's schedule. In the evening, you will have the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show. The entertainments for luxury series and standard series are a little bit difference. (B+L+D)

 

Differences

Luxury Series: the Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show at Tang Dynasty Palance is served.

The last sightseeing spot in Xian is the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. You will visit it on the way to the airport. Take a flight to Lhasa, the Sunlight City, which has the altitude of 3,650 meters above sea level. Transfer to the hotel and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. For your convenience, tonight we reserve the dinner for you at the hotel. (B+D)

Start the day tour from the greatest monumental structure in Tibet, Potala Palace, which perches upon Hongshan Hill for almost three centuries. A western-style lunch will be served for you. In the afternoon, visit the Sera Monastery and the Norbulingka Park. Tonight you will have an a la carte dinner at the local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B+L+D)

Visit the Jokhang Temple, the numinous center of Tibet and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street, both of which have history of more than one thousand years. After having a western-style lunch, go ahead to visit the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

A morning transfer takes you to Gyangtse. En route you will stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain. After a short break at the hotel, you will visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)
 

Drive to Shigatse and check in at the hotel. Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen. Remarkably, the Tashilunpo Monastery is home of the Panchen Rinpoche (Lama) and it is among the four main monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. (B+L+D)

Today you will be taken to Dingri. The transfer won't feel boring as you are going to visit the Sakya Monastery and Lhatse city on the way. Upon arrival, check in at the Everest Hotel and inner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Transfer to the Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbuk Monastery. With a height of more than 5800 meters, Monastery is the best site to view the pyramid-shaped, mighty and majestic the Everest. Return to Dingri. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Get back to Shigatse and transfer to the hotel. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B+L+D)

Drive back to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel. The remaining day is reserved for you to recover from the last few days' tiring drive journey. (B+L+D)

After visiting a Tibetan family, head to your next destination, Shanghai. The local guide will pick you up from the airport duly and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Getacquainted with the 'Oriental Paris', Shanghai by visiting the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden in the morning. In the afternoon, we schedule different activities for the luxury and standard series. Please refer to the following difference. An a la carte dinner is served at Wang Bao He restaurant of Central Hotel, where you could taste the best Shanghai Cuisine. After dinner, enjoy the Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre. Differences

Luxury Series: you will be transferred to the Bund area to take a cruise on the Huangpu River from 14:00 to 17:00. 

Standard Series: visit the Bund and Nanjing Road, which are the most prospers part of Shanghai. Following that is a local family visit.
