Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is located on the 10th floor of the New World Emporium, right outside of the People's Square Subway Station. It is the sixth Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in the world. Your dream of getting close contact with the celebrities can become true here. 

The museum is famous for making vivid wax figures for world famous people. It is divided into seven thematic exhibition areas: Behind the Scene, Shanghai Glamour, Celebrities, Cinema, Music, Sports and Speed. More than 70 celebrities from different circles such as political world, sports field, and entertainment business have been made into the lifelike wax figures for exhibition. Each of the statues is well selected according to the poll and elaborately wrought in the studio with more than 200 years' experience in waxing in London.

The moment you enter the wax museum, you come over the feeling that you are to join a party with those celebrities. It is the gathering of people in different colors. Audrey Hepburn dressed in the black evening gown, smiles at you with the cigarette in her hand. She seems like to appreciate the unique glamour of Shanghai holiday with you. Divid Beckham and Ronaldo stare at each other warily ready for competing for a match at any time. Oriental giant - Yao Ming is in the posture of jumping for shot with the basketball holding tightly in his hand. Li Jiacheng is discussing about something with Bill Gates relaxedly. Maybe they two never meet in real life. Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to be walking out of the set of the Terminator with the scar on his face. CNY 80 for kids under 1.2 m and adults over 65 years (excludes Scream hall)

 Transportation:
A. Bus Routes: Take Bus No. 18, 20, 37, 46, 167, 518, 537, 930 or 952 and get off at Renmin Square or East Xizang Road stop, and walk to the museum.
B. Subway: Take Subway Line 1, 2 or 8 and get off at Renmin Square station, and walk to the museum.
