You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant. Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. Take an afternoon flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Drive to Turpan and transfer to the hotel. Today's itinerary includes the Jiaohe Ruins, the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, the Karez Irrigation Channels and the Sugong Pagoda. (B+L)

Visit the Gao Chang Ruins, and the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves located deep in the Flaming Mountains. Board the overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang. (B+L+D)

Your guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. Breakfast is on your own. (L)

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch.
