Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of your day is free.

Day 02: Beijing
You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. Tonight you will enjoy an a la carte dinner at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Street. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake and the Lama Temple. Take an afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B+L+D)

Jiaohe Ruins, Turpan



Day 05: Xian
Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. This evening, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace. Day 06: Xian
Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque, the center of Xian's sizeable Muslim community and a local family, which helps you know how local people live. (B+L)

Day 07: Xian - Dunhuang
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi in the morning. Then take an afternoon flight to Dunhuang and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 08: Dunhuang - Turpan
You will get an opportunity to take a brief, but fun camel ride along the Echooing-Sand Dune to reach Crescent Lake. Visit the Mogao Grottoes in the afternoon. After dinner, take an overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Turpan
Your local guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Breakfast is served in your hotel. Today's itinerary includes the Jiaohe Ruins, the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, the Karez Irrigation Channels and the Sugong Pagoda. (B+L)

Day 10: Turpan
Visit the Gao Chang Ruins, the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves located deep in the Flaming Mountains and a local Bazzar. (B+L)

Drive to Korla. Enjoy the Gobi scenery on the way. Visit the Tiemen Pass upon your arrival in Korla. (B+L)

Drive to Minfeng County through the Taklamakan Desert and enjoy the scenery of sand dune. Stay overnight at the hotel. (B+L)

Day 13: Minfeng - Hetian

Day 14: Hetian - Kashgar
Drive to Kashgar. Visit the Yarkant King Mausoleum and the Yingisar Uigur Knife Making on the way. (B+L)

In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 19: Departure from Shanghai
