Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

 

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. Take an afternoon flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

Drive to Korla. You will visit the Tiemen Pass this afternoon. (B+L)

Visit the Silk Village, hundred years' old walnut tree and Paper Making. On the way to Minfeng, you can visit a local bazaar and the unique minority people's costume in Yutian city. Stay at the hotel in Minfeng. (B+L)

 

Drive to Korla through the Taklamakan Desert and enjoy the scenery of sand dune. Stay overnight at the hotel. (B+L)

Visit the Jiaohe Ruins, the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, the Karez Irrigation Channels and the Sugong Pagoda. Board the overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang. (B+L+D)

 

Your guide will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. Breakfast is on your own. (L)

 

You will get an opportunity to take a brief, but fun camel ride along the Echooing-Sand Dune to reach Crescent Lake. Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an and transfer to the hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. (B+L)

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an excellent Cantonese lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. After dinner you'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D) 

 

Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch at a local cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque. Then Take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

In the morning, tour the Yuyuan Garden, and the Bund. Later, you will visit a local family to experience the local people's life. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show.
