Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide and driver will make their way to Beijing Capital International Airport prior to your flight arrival time. Right after you claim the luggage and proceed to the exit, you would see the guide awaits you holding a sign with your name on it. Then you will be led to the homey 4-star deluxe Holiday Inn Central Plaza Hotel. The remaining day is free to be scheduled on your own.


Day 02: Beijing
You will come to know the other members of your group during the pre-tour briefing this morning. Then the exciting tour gets start from the Tiananmen Square, which is large enough to accommodate one million people to join a great occasion. The Forbidden City is only 1 kilometer north of it, so our guide will accompany your group to walk across the sightseeing path as he/ she interprets. Next you will visit the Temple of Heaven, which has an area twice as that of the Forbidden City. After enjoying the delicious Pecking Duck Dinner valued at CNY122.00 net per person (price included), you will appreciate the Pecking Opera performance at Liyuan Theatre as a perfect ending of today. Day 03: Beijing
Have a big breakfast at the hotel as you are going to take about two hours' hiking on the spectacular Badaling Great Wall in the morning. Lunch will be served at a Sichuan restaurant with a pleasant ambience. Having had a short rest during lunch time, you would be taken to visit another two historical sites nearby, the Sacred Way and the underground Ming Tomb. Go pass the Bird's Nest and take some photos for its appearance on the way back to the urban area. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
This morning, our guide will first take you to the ornate Summer Palace, a place where the emperors and empresses used to rest during Qing Dynasty. Then visit the lovely Giant Pandas in Beijing Zoo. You may tidy up your Beijing tour impressions on the flight to Xian. Warmly welcomed by the Xian guide and driver, your feeling of strangeness to this new destination will wear off in a second. A rich buffet dinner valued at CNY170.00 net per person (price included) will be reserved at your hotel, the 5-star Hyatt Regency downtown. (B+L+D)


Day 05: Xian
About 45 minutes drive will take you to the world famous Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warrior and Horses. There are more than 7,000 life-size warriors have stood to guard Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang. It is believed that the present discovery in the site is merely a tip of the submerged iceberg. At about noon, your group will return to the city for an a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person (price included). Continue the tour by visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the afternoon. Tonight the delightful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace (Address: No.75, Chang'an Road, Xian) is scheduled to entertain you. (B+L+D)


Day 06: Xian
Today you will visit the City Wall, a local family and the Great Mosque at a leisurely pace in the urban area. These three sites form a perfect combination for you to come into close contact with the local people and their daily life. You can also purchase some souvenirs and taste kinds of snacks at the bazaar nearby the Great Mosque. A la carte Lunch and Dinner each valued at CNY80.00 net per person will be served at handpicked restaurants that provide good service and delicate dishes. (B+L+D)

Day 07: Xian - Lhasa
Take flight straight to Lhasa, nicknamed Sunlight City, which is the highest city in the world with an elevation of 3658 meters above sea level. On the way to the local best hotel, 5-star Four Points by Sheraton Lhasa, our guide will tell you some important tips about how to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude easily. In addition, to help you adapt to the local condition, we particularly reserve the dinner for you at your hotel. (B+D)


Day 08: Lhasa
Visit the landmark of Tibet, the majestic Potala Palace that stands on the slope of the mountain. Western-style lunch will be served at a well received restaurant. After that, head to the Sera Monastery, where you could have the chance to see exciting Sutra-debating. Later, you will be taken to a Tibetan family to further learn the local customs. Day 09: Lhasa
After breakfast, our guide will escort you to the Jokhang Temple, the thriving Barhor Street and the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital. After having a western-style lunch, you will visit the Norbulinka Park. Dinner tonight is specially arranged at a local restaurant, where you will be entertained with a fresh Tibetan dance and show at the same time. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Lhasa - Chongqing
A morning flight will take you to Chongqing. Our guide will meet you at the airport as usual, and then you will have a short tour to the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. After dinner, you will embark on the deluxe 5-star New Century Cruise Ship, which sets sail at about 23:30. (B+D)


Day 11: Chongqing - Fengdu
After breakfast, the river guide will have a short lecture about the cruise and safety. At early afternoon, all the passengers will go on shore for a visit to the Snowy Jade Cave, which is among the most beautiful and spectacular limestone caves worldwide. The Captain's Welcome Party awaits your participation this evening. (B+L+D)


Day 12: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
This morning the ship will be docked at Badong, from where you will be guided to the Shennong Stream by taking a small junk. With clear stream water going gurgling on and green maintains rolling over one another, no one could hardly been carried away by the beauty. Get back to the ship at about lunch time. Then the cruise ship will sail into the western section of the Xiling Gorge. Tonight the cruise ship will pass through the five-step ship lock. (B+L+D)



Day 13: Yichang - Shanghai
The cruise journey will be concluded by the last shore excursion to the massive Three Gorges Dam. The guide in Yichang will take you to a local popular restaurant for lunch. Before board on the flight to Shanghai, you will visit the Yichang Musum if time permits. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be picked up and transferred to the 5-star JC Mandarin Hotel. Day 14: Shanghai
The morning tour starts from the Shanghai Museum, which houses fabulous ancient Chinese art. Followed by this, you will take a visit to the Yuyuan Garden built in Ming Dynasty. After lunch, about two hours' relaxing cruise on the Huangpu River will furnish you an opportunity to view the most prosperous scenes of Shanghai.
