Day 02: BeijingYour tour truly starts after a short meeting with other group members at the hotel lobby. Walking through the Tiananmen Square and visit the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. As the former royal palace, Forbidden City is very large and 2 hours’ visit can only cover a small part of it. But you will walk along its central axis and see the major halls where the emperors and empresses used to live and meet the ministers. At night you will feast on Peking Duck which values CNY122.00 net per person (price included) at a famous restaurant. Following dinner is the brilliant Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. Day 03: BeijingAfter a big breakfast, we will lead you to climb the Great Wall. The Great Wall was first built in Qin Dynasty and continuously constructed by many emperors from then on. Till today, the Great Wall is over 7000 kilometers, like a giant dragon winds on Chinese land. To replenish your energy lost in the morning, you will be driven to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, visit the Sacred Way and the Dingling Tomb, one of the tombs where the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty were buried. On the way back to downtown, we will specially drive by the Olympic Stadium Bird's Nest and offer you an opportunity to take a photo there. Tonight you will enjoy an a la carte dinner valued at CNY100.00 net per person (price included) at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Area. Day 04: Beijing - Xian
The Summer Palace and the Beijing Zoo are scheduled in the morning. Panda is a native of China and rare animal now. In the Beijing Zoo, you can observe the activities of endearing pandas and take beautiful photos of them. After lunch, fly to Xian and check in at the local best hotel. A buffet dinner valued at CNY170.00 net per person (price included) will be served at your hotel, 5-star downtown Hyatt Regency Hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 05: XianVisit the Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in the morning. There are three pits where you can see thousands of life-sized clay infantries, cavalries, horses and carriages erected. The statues were with bright and vivid color when first dug up. But it is a pity that as affected by the air, the paints all faded away and only the original earth yellow was left. After having an a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person (price included), explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The temple and the pagoda were built in memorial of the hierarch Xuanzang in Tang Dynasty and to collect the Buddhist materials that were taken from India by him. In the evening, the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace is prepared for you. Day 06: XianThe day starts with an ascending tour to the symbol of Xian, the City Wall. A visit to a local family gives you an opportunity to observe Chinese local life closely. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person (price included), head to the Great Mosque of Hui Minority. It has a history of over 1200 years and still the local Muslims worship there. That is why the main Hall does not open to the visitors. When walking through the nearby bazaar, a short free time will be arranged for you to wandering around and maybe buy some souvenirs. Day 07: Xian - ChongqingBefore departing for Chongqing and on the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum which was built on the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. The whole cemetery is 12 square kilometers and in perfectly preserved condition. The excavation of this mausoleum offers a great chance to discover the social hierarchical structure, burial customs and court system, etc. No lunch is arranged today, so you may have some simple snack on the flight or take some instant food with you. After arriving in Chongqing, our guide will take you to have a rich dinner and then help you board the deluxe New Century cruise ship. As the ship departs from Chongqing at about 23:30, your relaxing Yangtze River tour begins. (B+D)
Day 08: Chongqing - FengduThe river guide will give a brief introduction to the cruise after the breakfast. Then you will have a whole morning free. You may take photos of the splendid scenery along the Yangtze River or just sit and enjoy the sunshine and breeze on the viewing deck. After the buffet lunch, the afternoon onshore excursion is to the Snowy Jade Cave. The name was given because most of the stalactites in the cave are pure white like the finest white jade and ornamenting the cave a snow world. Comfortable shoes are suggested as it takes about an hour to walk through the cave. After you get back to the cruise, we continue sailing to the Three Gorges. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held tonight and the excellent entertainments represented by the talented cruise staff will bright your eyes. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Badong - Xiling Gorge - SandoupingArrive at Badong in the morning and a novel drift along the Shennong Stream awaits you today. The canoe you will take is called the pea-boat by the local people as it looks like a half peapod. The riverbed is quite narrow where the narrowest part is only 7 meters, and yet the fall is steep. When the water is shallow, the boatmen will track the boat and this is the experience you can not get elsewhere. Back to the ship to have lunch and continue the cruise into the western section of the Xiling Gorge in the afternoon. You will pass through the splendid five-step ship lock of the famous Three Gorges Dam Project in the evening. (B+L+D)
Day 10: Yichang - Shanghai
On the last day of your cruise tour, disembark for an excursion to the under-construction Three Gorges Dam in the morning. When the project is completed in 2009, it will be the largest water conservancy in the world and the normal storage level will be 175 meters. The river guide will give you a detailed introduction of the dam and you will see the miniature of it. After back to the ship, please pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. Our guide will meet you on the cruise. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Take flight to your terminal destination - Shanghai and transfer to your hotel - 5-star JC Mandarin Hotel for a good rest. You may ask your local guide for suggestions of where to have dinner and roaming after it. Your hotel is very well located and it is easy to access the Huangpu River for a night view. (B+L)
Day 11: Shanghai
Three representative spots of this city, Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, and a cruise tour on Huangpu River will show you the diverse charm of Shanghai. Shanghai Museum contains the city and country history, Yuyuan Garden and the bazaar around it occupy a large part of local people’s life and the cruise along the Huangpu River will take you to experience the developed Bund area. At night, we hope you will enjoy the elaborate Shanghai cuisine dinner at the 260 years old Wang Bao He restaurant in the Central Hotel, and the exciting Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. Day 12: Shanghai - Guilin
The whole morning is left free for you. Rest at the hotel or explore the city on your own, you may ask your guide for advice and directions. At noon, gather at the hotel lobby and your local guide will take you to lunch at a local restaurant. Head for Guilin by air afterwards and check in at the best local hotel - 5-star Sheraton Hotel. The most splendid show in Guilin, the Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre, will be represented tonight after dinner served at the Guilin Bravo Hotel. (B+L+D)
Day 13: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Yangshuo is a must see if you have ever been to Guilin. Today’s itinerary starts with the cruise on the picturesque Li River. You will embark at 09:00 and arrive at Yangshuo at about 14:00. When cruising down the river, it is like drifting in a natural gallery. Appreciate the fresh air, graceful landscape and watch the children and water buffalo paddling in water which make your mood easy and happy. Please kindly note that the lunch provided by the cruise company may not meet your needs, so we suggest that you have a big breakfast at the hotel today. A short bicycle trip along the country path to rural Yangshuo is arranged in the afternoon. And the electric car is available if you can not ride a bike. A local family visit on the way allows you get deep into the peasants’ life. Also, you can walk down the well-known West Street and explore the sidewalk shops. Drive back to Guilin in the afternoon. Day 14: Guilin - Hong Kong
A Guilin city tour to the Reed Flute Cave, the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Seven Star Park is scheduled today. There are about 60 steps needed to climb before entering the cave and a lot of walking is involved when visiting the two parks. So a pair of comfortable shoes is suggested to wear today. In the late afternoon, our guide will take you to the airport for the flight to Hong Kong and our guided tour stops here. No service is offered in Hong Kong except the hotel reservation. So please make sure you have fully prepared for the free days here. Upon arrival, please take a taxi or the airport shuttle bus to your hotel - 5- star InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong at 70 Mody Road, Tsimshatsui East and the dinner is on your own. (B+L)

Day 15: Hong KongOnly the American breakfast is offered today and you have a whole day to explore Hong Kong by yourselves. If you want to do a sightseeing tour, Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Ocean Park and the Disney Land are recommended. If you are more interested in shopping, other than the deluxe brand stores, it is fun to bargain and sift in the local markets like the Stanley Market,the Jubilee Street and the Women's Street. But please beware of your carryon properties in case of lost or stolen. (B)
Day 16: Departure from Hong Kong
This is the last day of our tour and it is very easy for you to transfer to the airport and take your homeward flight by yourselves, as the taxi and hotel shuttle bus are all very convenient. But please kindly note that if you will enter China mainland again, you will need a double entry Visa. And if you have more days to spend on the holiday, we have many tour package options available.
