After breakfast, meet the other members of your group during the pre-tour briefing in the hotel. You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badalling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. Tonight you will enjoy an a la carte dinner valued at CNY100.00 net per person (price included) at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing Area. After dinner, one hour is left free for you to stroll in the traffic-free Wangfujing Street and absorb something of the vibrant atmosphere of Beijing. (B+L+D)

 

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake and the lovely Giant Pandas in Beijing Zoo. After lunch, you’ll take the afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the local best hotel. Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses where over 7,000 life-size warriors have stood guard for the last 2,000 years. Then we’ll return to the city for an a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person (price included). In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall. Tonight you’ll enjoy Xian’s famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet in the Tang Dynasty Palace. After dinner you’ll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. Visit the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. After enjoying a delicious a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person (price included), visit a local family and the Great Mosque, then walk through the neighboring bazaar. You will visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi in the morning. Then you will take an afternoon flight to Chongqing. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner valued at CNY100.00 net per person (price included) at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze. Then you will embark on the German-made China Regal cruise ship to stay overnight in preparation for your Yangtze cruise. (B+D)

 

At 08:00, the China Regal sets sail down the mighty Yangtze River. Your sightseeing highlight today will be a visit to the Ghost City of Fengdu. (B+L+D)

 

Today, you’ll stop at the town of Badong and take a small junk up the Shennong Stream and enjoy the spectacular natural scenery. The cruise will resume sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge and passing through the five-step ship lock. (B+L+D)

 

In the morning visit the monumental Three Gorges Dam Project at Sandongping. After that, the cruise ends. Drive to Yichang and you will then have the opportunity to go to the Chinese Sturgeon Museum. After lunch fly to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, visit a local family and stroll along the Bund. Tonight’s dinner valued at CNY105.00 net per person (price included) will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. This morning is free to explore this city by yourselves. After lunch, you will take a flight to Guilin. After checking in at the local best hotel, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, as its name implies, it is quite a remarkable example of the hand of nature upon the landscape. After dinner, you will enjoy the Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre. (B+L+D)

 

Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo you can take a short bicycle trip to the countryside where you will visit a local villager’s home and experience his rural lifestyle. Alternatively you can take our electric car instead of a bicycle. Then take the short drive back to Guilin. (Sometimes the food served on the cruise is not the best, so consider a hearty breakfast at the hotel this morning) (B+L+D)

 

Visit the Reed Flute Cave and the delightful Seven Star Park. Then take a flight to Hong Kong and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

You’ll do a half day tour including a tram ride to the mid-level of Central District and then to Victoria Peak. Later, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and the Stanley Market. The afternoon is free. Our guided service ends here. (B+L)
