Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of your day is free.

 

After breakfast, meet the other members of your group during the pre-tour briefing in the hotel. You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck valued at CNY122.00 net per person (price included) at a famous restaurant. Following dinner you will witness a brilliant Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

 

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badalling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. After dinner, one hour is left free for you to stroll in the traffic-free Wangfujing Street and absorb something of the vibrant atmosphere of Beijing. (B+L+D)

 

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake and the lovely Giant Pandas in Beijing Zoo. After lunch, you'll take the afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. An a la carte dinner valued at CNY60.00 net per person will be served at a well-known Sichuan cuisine restaurant this evening. (B+L+D)

 

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses where over 7,000 life-size warriors have stood guard for the last 2,000 years. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet in the Tang Dynasty Palace. After dinner you'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D) 

 

Visit the Great Mosque and the magnificent Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. Take an afternoon flight to Chongqing. You will embark on the deluxe German-made cruise ship to stay overnight in preparation for your Yangtze cruise after dinner. (B+D)

 

At 08:00, the China Regal sets sail down the mighty Yangtze River. Your sightseeing highlight today will be a visit to the Ghost City of Fengdu. (B+L+D)

 

Today, you'll stop at the town of Badong and take a small junk up the Shennong Stream and enjoy the spectacular natural scenery. The cruise will resume sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge and passing through the five-step ship lock. (B+L+D)

 

This morning take an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Project. The cruise will resume sailing through the eastern section of Xiling Gorge. Exit the gorges at Yichang city, where you pass the ship lock of Gezhouba Dam. Experience the world's largest hydroelectric project to be completed in 2009. (B+L+D)

 

The cruise ends in Wuhan at noon. Have an aftertaste on the scenery along the Yangtze River, and then disembark the cruise ship. You will be met by the guide and taken to have lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Fly to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The evening will be free for you to explore something of Shanghai. (B+L)

 

In the morning, tour the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, visit a local family and stroll along the Bund. Tonight's dinner is served at your hotel. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Our guided service ends here. (B+L+D)
