Today we will show you the highlights of Beijing, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. After breakfast at the hotel, your tour guide will gather all of the group members at the hotel lobby and give all of you a brief introduction about tour arrangements, and you also can know who will travel with you. The first stop is Tiananmen Square, literally meaning the 'Gate of Heavenly Peace'. Walking for about 10 minutes, you will enter the Forbidden City, where the emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and dealt with the all kinds of events of the country and family. It is said that there are 9,999 rooms and palaces inside and you may feel its majesty and magnificence when you visit it with the explanation from your tour guide. After a well arranged a la carte lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Temple of Heaven, another famous site related with royalty in ancient China, it is also the largest palace complex for sacrificing God in ancient China. After having a local specialty Peking Duck Dinner at the famous Quanjude restaurant, you will enjoy a fabulous Kungfu Show at the Red Theatre. (B+L+D)
For once-in-a-life-time travel in China, the Great Wall tour can not be missed for any reason. The Badaling Section of the Great Wall, the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb are scheduled for today. Once you are on the Great Wall, use your imagination for how the ancient people built this great project without the modern machinery equipments. Our tour guide will leave some free time for you to climb the wall and please do arrive at the appointed place on time. Then you will be transferred to the restaurant for lunch, which is an old restaurant with high reputation in local. Pass the Sacred Way to reach Ming Tomb in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, you will pass by the Bird's Nest and have an opportunity to take a photo with it. (B+L)
The Summer Palace and the Beijing Zoo will be arranged for your last day's tour in Beijing. You may visit the national treasure pandas and other rare and precious animals in Beijing Zoo. At noon, we will arrange a rich a la carte lunch for you at a popular local restaurant. Take a flight to Xi'an and you will be met by our friendly tour guide at the airport. He/she will give you some brief introduction about Xian's history and developing process on the way to the 4-star Grand New World Hotel. (B+L)

Today's shore excursion will take you to visit the Three Gorges Dam site where you may get a general idea of the whole project and all of the processes. At about 12:00 in the noon, the cruise will arrive in Yichang port and your cruise tour will come to an end. Please follow the check out procedure and your tour guide will wait for you on board to take you for lunch. Then a visit to Yichang Museum will be arranged before your boarding the flight to Shanghai, time permitting. Our tour guide in Shanghai will pick you up and transfer you to the 5-star Howard Johnson Business Club Hotel. We prefer to leave dinner on your own to arrange, and you may ask your tour guide's advice and find your fancied meal. (B+L)
