Day 01: Arrival in Beijing

Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of your day is free.

Day 02: Beijing

You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. After lunch, you'll take the afternoon flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Visit the ancient City Wall. (B+L)

Day 05: Xian

Tour the astounding Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Then we'll return to the city for an a la carte lunch at a renowned Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight you'll enjoy Xian's famous dining specialty, the Dumpling Banquet. After dinner yo'll be entertained by the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Xian - Zhangjiajie

Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum in the morning. After having the a la carte lunch at a local well-known restaurant, visit the Great Mosque. Take flight to Zhangjiajie and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 07: Zhangjiajie - Fenghuang

Take a tour to Fenghuang ancient town, where you can wander along dozens of alleys paved with flagstones between the houses and pay a visit to the former Residence of a versatile writer, Shen Congwen. (B+L)

Day 08: Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie

Drive back to Zhangjiajie and check in the hotel. Enjoy a city tour to Huangshi Stockade Village and Jinbian Stream in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. (B+L)

Day 09: Zhangjiajie - Shanghai

Start today by visiting the Mt. Tianzi Scenic Spot and the Ten-mile gallery in Suoxiyu Nature Reserve. Later take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 10: Shanghai

Today, tour the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. Later, you will visit a local family to experience the local people's life. Tonight's dinner will feature Shanghai cuisine at the renowned 260-year old Wang Bao He restaurant. After dinner, you'll go to the Shanghai Centre Theatre and see the fabulous Portman Acrobatic Show. Day 11: Departure from Shanghai
You will be transferred to the airport to board your homeward bound flight filled with memories of your exciting journey to this most amazing land. (B)
