     Climate: Nanjing is humid subtropical climate and is under the influence of the East Asia Monsoon. It is Known as one of the 'Three Furnacelike Cities' along the Yangtze River for its high temperature in summer days.

     Annual Temperature: The annual mean temperature in January is 16 °C (61 °F), with monthly mean values ranging from 2.4 - 27.8 °C (36.3 - 82 °F). 

     Best Season to Visit:  Spring & Autumn

    Nanjing is endowed with four distinct seasons, which is unusual in South China. The mean annual temperature is around 16 °C  (61 °F). It is hottest in July, 28.1 °C (82.6 °F), and coldest in January, -2.1 °C (28.2 °F). The average annual rainfall is about 1,100 millimeters (43 inches), and with an average of 117 days of rain, the rainy season comes in late June and lasts to mid-July. The most pleasant time is from September to November.
