Climate: Nanning is tropical marine climate, characterised by hot summers and very mild winters, usually with high humidity.Haikou presents a tropical marine climate, which is rare in China. It has a mean annual temperature of 23.8 °C (74.8 °F), 28 °C (82.4 °F) at its maximum and 18.8 °C (65.8 °F) at its minimum. The average annual precipitation is 1,664 millimeters (65.5 inches) and rainy days with a rainfall of more than 0.1 millimeter (0.004 inch) amount to over 150 in a year.
It is better to visit this tropical wonderland from November to April, for the rainy season begins in May and lasts for five months until October. Moreover, typhoons frequently threaten the city, on an average of every ten days during the months of June, July, August and September.
