Over 600 years, the Tunbu People living in Tianlong County keeps the traditions they learned form their ancestors: they live in stone houses, walk on stone roads, build stone towers and city walls and use stone bowls, and wear long ropes with big sleeves; when it comes to festivals, men will perform the local opera Dixi, women will wear embroidered shoes, old women will recite Buddhist Songs, and young people will sing the local folk songs.
