We were a small group and were in general agreement about what we would do and how much time to spend. The guides were always professional and saw to all our needs. We seemed to have a group that loved to take pictures. I know one person took over 906 photos so you can imagine how long that took, my husband took 604 so we were close behind. It was a lot of fun. As a group were bonded and were inseparable.

All of the guides were terrific and very knowledgeable. They left us feeling we were a part of china

The drivers were timely and clean. I felt that it would have been nice to know a little more about them because they help so much.

Our most favorite guide would be Cindy. Her spirit was always positive and had wonderful stories to tell us about all the sitse we visited. She made history come alive.

Michael also was very stimulating with his stories. He has quite a mastery of English and it was nice to hear our language spoken so well. He went well above service in helping us with the misunderstanding of the Hotel, which were many. As well as the restaurant problems. I'm sure that the group would agree if it wasn't for Michael's help the trip in Shanghai would have troublesome and not enjoyable. Michael was always upbeat and able to sweep away every problem so we could be on vacation and enjoy ourselves. My suggestion would be for you to recheck the restaurants and Hotels that you send us to so they know what they are suppose to offer.

All other cities were very gracious and eager to fix any mistakes made.

Dear Rebecca & Vicky

First of all, we like to thank you for organizing our tour to Guilin, Chongqing and the Yangtze River cruise. In the course of planning of the tour, we found that you are very professional and efficient. There was a little hiccup in the airline ticketing but you have straightened it out within a couple of days. We also appreciate your prompt response to our email queries. It was a pleasure dealing with you.

We enjoyed our trip very much. The meals you organized for us at Chongqing and Shanghai were very good. We especially liked the dinner at Shanghai where we had a chance to order what we like (within your budget to the restaurant).

We had a guide at each of the cities, Guilin, Chongqing and Shanghai. It was a relief to see someone meeting us when we came out of the airport. All the guides were very helpful, punctual, and knowledgeable in local history and cultures. The communication in English was generally good. We specially wish to commend our guide, Tony, in Guilin. He was the best guide we had on the trip. He spoke well and looked after us very well.

All the drivers had good driving skills and were very respectful. They also helped in the loading of our luggage into/out of the car. The various cars were comfortable and kept clean both inside and outside. We noted that seat belts were not available on the passenger seats. It probably is not a requirement in China. However, we would recommend that seat belts be fitted to enhance safety.

We were pleased with the hotel accommodation you arranged for us in Chongqing and Shanghai. We particularly like Sofitel in Shanghai as it is very conveniently located, being close to the shopping area and the Bund.

Thank you so much again for a great trip. When we plan our future trips to China we will definitely consider your company as our travel agent.

Kind regards

As I mentioned to your representative in Xian many Americans would probably prefer simpler, blander food but we do not. An added feature for any tour might be a choice of 2 or 3 set meals that run the gamut from blander to spicier or some mix. In fact you might want to consider a separate tour for “foodies” like us who really enjoy a wide range of styles and tastes—this could include special meals at notable restaurants. The lunch on the day we went to the Ming tombs was quite good.

All were quite good, although we thought that Nancy (Xian), Ken (Chongqing) and Gerry (Wuhan) were exceptionally knowledgeable about the cities and culture. We thoroughly enjoyed extended conversations with all three and would have liked to spend even more time with them.

All the guides speak quite good English and we had no trouble communicating with them. And also all seemed well informed and even went out of their way to look information up that they didn’t know right away. Really they were all quite pleasant to deal with and we enjoyed their company.

The drivers and cars were all very good - I would single out Mr. Tang in Beijing in particular. He always had a ready smile and negotiated the Beijing traffic extremely well.

There are 3 main points I would single out for comment: (1) We really appreciated the ability to tailor many of the sites we visited to our particular tastes and interests and to add free days when we wanted time to explore on our own. (2) In particular the Holiday Inn Central Plaza in Beijing was an excellent hotel. Although not in the heart of the city, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and it was easy to get around by taxi. We really enjoyed wandering the area around the hotel in the evenings and walking along the canal. (3) At every point your staff was exceptional in answering my questions and providing information to help us plan our itinerary. Truly this all made for a most memorable China trip for us.

Once again thank you all for helping us to craft what was a very nice China trip.

Dear Ms L. Liu and Mr W. Ye,

Many, many thanks; we just want to tell you that we deeply enjoyed our private tour to China; everything was very well planned and appropriated to make our tour a memorable one.

All our guides and drivers were absolutely very professionals, informatives and attentives to us contributing to make our trip very enjoyable.

Hotels (outstanding with excellent service), restaurants (Beijing Duck Dinner at Quan Ju De, a must) and evening entertainments (we enjoyed them so much) have been very well chosen.

Overall, our China tour was outstanding; Ms Liu, Mr Ye, be assured that your company is highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit China... " chapeau..." (french word to congratulate you and your team).

Dear Tour Counselors,

Thanks for a great china tour. We had a leisure time under the organization of your agency. If we have plan back to china in the near future, we will definitely contact with your agency.

Regarding the food, it was very good but too much. If I was to use your service again, I would probably only want 2 meals a day or all 3 if they were lighter. The dumplings were my least favorite since although there was variety they mainly tasted like the dough they were encased in. All of the other meals were excellent.

Guides: All of the guides were very good. They all tried to accommodate any specific things we wanted to do and were careful not to push us into any specific shopping. They all had excellent knowledge of their cities. The one with the best English was in Shanghai (Young) but all had good English skills. Young, the Shanhai guide, was very good at making certain that we were well taken care of at every stop. In Beijing, Brian was very good at providing his insights into life in China and even bringing some classical music CDs to play (in talking to us, he found that we likes that music) while driving to the Great Wall. In Xian, Tracey was excellent at explaining the history. In Guilin, Tony was excellent at making us feel welcome by small courtesies throughout our visit.

Cars: all of the cars were clean and comfortable. All of the drivers were courteous and kind.

Hotels: All of the hotels were very good. Except the hotel in Guilin was under construction which greatly reduced service and the experience.

The visits to where local people actually lived in Xian and the visit to the farm house in Guilin were added bonuses.
