You will walk through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.  Tonight you will feast on Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant.  Following dinner you will witness a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B+L+D)

 

Today you will walk on the most visited segment of the Great Wall, Badaling. To avoid the tourist eateries at the Wall, you will be taken to a local popular Sichuan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

 

Board the soft seat train to Chengde and transfer to the Yunshan Hotel.  This afternoon you will visit one of the greatest ancient building complexes in China, the Mountain Retreat for Escaping the Heat which covers an area of 5.6 million square meters. (B+L)

 

You will take a morning to the Eight Outer Temples including the Puning and the Putuzongcheng. You'll return to Beijing on the afternoon soft seat train and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

 

This morning you will visit the ornate Summer Palace on the shores of the immense Kunming Lake. Then you will be transferred to the airport to board your departure flight. Your tour ends here. (B)
