Bird's Nest, the National Stadium of China, is located in the south end of Beijing Olympic Center. As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, it was constructed into a bird-nest shape, hence the name. In 2008, lots of games were held at Bird's Nest, including the opening and closing ceremonies of 29th Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games, as well as some track and field competition and football competition.
